Photographer George Kamper’s Ferrini USA Rebranding

Photographer George Kamper and crew were commissioned to create the key images for the rebranding of the handcrafting boot-making company, Ferrini USA.  The images were created for the website, social media, print, and POP campaigns featuring various lifestyle situations on location in the Dallas area. Below Kamper shares his story of the process:

The creative director had targeted five distinctive location looks and situations we needed to achieve incorporating several smaller spontaneous captures along the way. The schedule was somewhat aggressive as the shoot had to be completed in a one day shoot, to meet budgetary considerations.

From the onset of the project, it was clear that Frank Laudo, the ECD with Agency Creative, had done his homework. The schedule and mood boards were key for every dept. Frank had detailed out the boards with photos, the overall feel they were looking for, props, and even had a few suggested actions for each of the five scenarios. This allowed everyone to get on the same page quickly and with great focus and understanding of what was required.

When in Dallas, we rely on Jen our very talented producer, to ensure a smooth and well thought out schedule and help in orchestrating a great crew and overall experience.

We scouted prior to the shoot to review potential locations, available light, props on-site, etc… We decided a ranch in Flower Mound, Texas had everything we were looking for and was nearby the second location.

This shoot couldn’t have gone smoother. The farm location offered several great visual opportunities for the majority of the shots and the bar/pool hall was about 20 minutes away, allowed us easy access for gear, wardrobe, props, etc… The pool hall employees were so very helpful to my production team, which enabled us to get in and out in less than two hours with the main shots and several variations.

At the end of the day, we were in and out in less than two hours with the main shots and several variations.

We retouched and delivered 30 high rez files. The site just launched and looks awesome. https://ferriniusa.com/
